Alpine Lines is an indie game made by a solo developer. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in connection with the use of the app.

The short version: Alpine Lines is a solo-developed game that does not collect or store personal data on its own servers. It optionally uses Google Play Games Services to power its leaderboards.

Information and Gameplay Data

Alpine Lines does not use custom tracking, analytics, or background data collection. However, to provide competitive features, the game integrates with Google Play Games Services.

If you choose to sign in to the leaderboard:

• What is transmitted: The game sends your gameplay scores and your Google Play Games ID to Google’s servers over a secure encrypted connection.
• Where it is stored: We do not store this data on personal servers. All leaderboard data and account authentication are securely managed by Google.

If you do not sign in to Play Games Services, the game operates entirely offline and no data is transmitted.

Data Deletion

Because Alpine Lines uses Google Play Games Services for its leaderboards, your gameplay data is tied directly to your Google account rather than our own servers.

You can request that your account and all associated game data be deleted at any time. To delete your leaderboard data for Alpine Lines, you can manage it directly through your Play Games Profile or through your device’s Google Play Games app settings.

Data Collected by Google Play

While Alpine Lines itself does not collect data outside of the optional leaderboard features, downloading and using the app through the Google Play Store is subject to Google’s own data collection practices. Google may automatically collect certain information such as:

• App install and uninstall events
• Crash reports and performance diagnostics
• Device type and operating system version
• General usage statistics

This data is collected and managed solely by Google and is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy. I have no control over this data collection and do not have access to any personally identifiable information through these reports.

Children’s Privacy

Alpine Lines does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
